Glass Recycling Plant

Project Summary

This Glass Recycling Plant located in the UK consists of 34 conveyors, three bucket elevators, two cyclone filter systems, four crushers and six screens along with all the transfer stations, walkways, chutes, ducting and mechanical equipment including the idlers, drives, bearings, belts, scrapers, skirts, feeders and pneumatics all fully modeled by BDS.

Inclusion of all these items into the Tekla model allowed BDS to check the interface between the steelwork and mechanical equipment thus creating a library of the equipment for use on future projects.
