Senior Modeller - Brisbane Based
BDS VirCon is seeking to appoint a Senior Modeller to join its Virtual Construction and Research and Development arm in Brisbane. You will be reporting to the Technical Manager as part of a dynamic and innovative team involved in innovation in virtual construction and BIM.
The position requires:
- Wide experience and detailed knowledge of Navisworks and the ability to facilitate interoperability and manipulate data from various formats/sources.
- A natural curiosity for design systems/software with a passion to explore and develop innovative solutions.
- Knowledge of the construction industry and the site activities required on large commercial and industrial projects.
- Experience in a 4D environment and exposure to Tekla Structure would be advantageous.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must have the right to work in Australia i.e. citizen or permanent resident.

Manager – Forensic Modelling
BDS VirCon is seeking to appoint a Manager (Forensic Modelling) to join its Brisbane office.
The position requires:
- At least ten years site experience in either construction, erection or expediting roles with a major firm, and a thorough understanding of the construction process of major projects.
- Must be technology savvy and curious with an innate interest in BIM and IPD. Extensive exposure to either Tekla Structures or similar software is essential.
- An engineering qualification and exposure to construction litigation would be an advantage.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with a marketing flair.
- The ability to work in a small team across functions and contries.
- Must have the right to work in Australia i.e. citizen or permanent resident.
