B2-Bomber Hangar Observable Restoration Facility

Project Summary

In late 2000, ground was broken for the new 53,000 SF Whiteman Air Force Base B-2 LO Observable Restoration Facility in Johnson County, Missouri that accommodates two B-2 Bomber aircraft maintenance bays that has truss span as wide as: 205’-0” ft. with supporting administration, shops and storage spaces.

The 1,500 ton heavy structural steel facility was completed in November 2002.
